Kanye West Mom: Rapper Still Reeling Over Mother's Death? [VIDEO]
Kanye West is reportedly still reeling over the death of his mother, Donda.
According to a new report, the rapper has experienced paranoia due to the tragic passing of Donda nearly one decade ago and his recent breakdown may have been the result of his alleged belief that she was killed.
“Kanye thinks his mother was murdered, and that’s where the massive paranoia stems from,” an insider revealed to Hollywood Life on Tuesday, referring to the “extreme paranoia” that West has allegedly been exhibiting as his doctors continue to help him get well.
“It was a massive emotional blow to Kanye and rocked him to the core,” the source added. “He’s never been the same since her death.”
Kanye's mom died when she was just 58-years-old during what was expected to be a routine procedure. As the outlet explained, Donda passed away during a cosmetic surgery procedure involving abdominoplasty and a breast reduction in November 200 and in the years since her death, rumors have swirled in regard to possible malpractice.
"Kanye has said that he blames himself for her passing, and we wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of the main reasons he landed in the hospital," Hollywood Life told readers.
In 2012, Kanye named his creative content company DONDA after his mother and also founded the Kanye West Foundation in 2003 with his mother, which he renamed as The Dr. Donda West Foundation in 2008.
