Kanye West 'New Slaves' Projected on 66 Buildings This Weekend
Tonight buildings around the world will be projecting a video for Kanye West's newest single titled New Slaves.
The large scale collaboration was announced earlier in the evening on May 17 via West's Twitter account.
"NEW SONG AND VISUAL FROM MY NEW ALBUM BEING PROJECTED TONIGHT ACROSS THE GLOBE ON 66 BUILDINGS, LOCATIONS @ https://KANYEWEST.COM" the rapper tweeted.
The link will take fans to a list of locations and times that the video will be shown in different cities. Following the link leads to a screen of a darkened map on which 10 cities are highlighted in red. Some of the viewings, such as Williamsburg, Brooklyn have already taken place and can be seen online.
North American cities included are San Francisco with 10 viewing locations, Los Angeles with eight locations, Miami with four, Chicago with eight, Toronto with four, and New York with nine locations. All of these projections will take place on May 17.
European cities include London with six buildings, Paris with five, and Berlin with six locations. These viewings will take place on May 18 and May 19.
Lastly, there are four viewing locations in Sydney for May 18.
According to Consequence of Sound, the track comes from his upcoming, untitled sixth album. West can be seen on the season finale episode of Saturday Night Live with Ben Affleck.
