LeAnn Rimes Instagrams Nashville Visit to Promote 'Spitfire' Album [PHOTOS]
LeAnn Rimes gave Instagram followers her view of Nashville this week when the country singer hit the town to promote her upcoming album.
Rimes was in Nashville on Friday, May 17, to promote the new album, Spitfire, due out June 4. Rimes teamed up with Yahoo's OMG! to send out Instagram pictures of her big day in Nashville. The series of Instagram photos showed LeAnn Rimes meeting with fans in Nashville, doing interviews, and preparing for a show at the Grand Ole Opry.
The Instagram pictures of Rimes in Nashville were a good reminder for fans that she is still a country music performer first and tabloid fodder second. The only news about Rimes in recent months seemed to come from her feud with her husband's ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville.
The two got into a bit of a tiff last week after Rimes sent Glanville flowers for Mother's Day. Brandi responded on Twitter by thanking Rimes but admitting that the two don't speak when they see each other in person.
In a now deleted tweet, Rimes' reportedly replied:
"This was actually the first acknowledgement of my gesture I was made aware of. I didn't see anything else sent to me. It wasn't for the 'thank you.' It was to just simply say Happy Mother's Day."
Rimes is moving past the drama and once again focusing on her music with the release of Spitfire. She has called the album is her most personal one yet.
"It's definitely a piece of my life through music...There's just a humanity through this that just came out of life for me. Life happened and this album came out of it all," she said.
