Saturday Night Live ended season 38 on May 18 with two-time Academy Award winner Ben Affleck as host and rapper Kanye West as the night's musical guest.

West performed two new songs, Black Skinhead and then New Slaves, for the first time. The two songs are reportedky new material from his upcoming sixth album, which is rumored to be released on June 18.

The Chicago native performed the songs on SNL a day after he premiered New Slaves with the use of video projections on 66 buildings around the world on Friday. West cleverly ran a video of himself singing the rap in major cities around the world, including New York, Miami, Toronto, London, Paris, Chicago and Berlin.

He first performed new material from his next studio effort at the 2013 Met Gala after party on May 6. On May 15 he made a surprise appearance at Roseland Ballroom in New York City and rapped new lyrics.

West reportedly slammed SNL a few days before his season finale appearance at the Adult Swim channel's Upfronts last week. According to Complex, West yelled a rant about the complexities of performing for SNL to a crowd.

"[I had a friend ask me, 'Are you gonna go on] SNL and you're going to do like a skit about the paparazzi and sh-- and like humanize yourself?" I ain't here to apologize to no motherf---ers man," West stated. "It ain't about me humanizing myself. At what point did I become unhuman where I had to turn myself back? Or maybe I was demonized. Or maybe I was treated inhumane and not human in that kind of situation.

"I ain't no motherf---ing celebrity. ... Hell nah I ain't doing no motherf--ing SNL skits, this my g--damn life. This ain't no motherf--ing joke. That's it. Stop that sh-- right there."

According to an earlier report on PerezHilton.com, West refused to perform on for SNL if any of the skits mocked his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who's pregnant with the couple's first child.
