Justin Bieber won the award for the Top Male Artist at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.
The Boyfriend singer competed with Bruno Mars, Drake, Flo Rida and Jason Aldean for the award at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
On-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez was seen attending the Music Awards ceremony without Bieber, but after he was seen sitting with Gomez, this sparked questions as to whether the on-and-off couple are back together. Although the two broke up in January after two years of dating, they attended Saturday night's late show performance of LOVE by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage in Las Vegas, according to E! News.
Backstage spy Brad Bessey tweeted a photo of the seating arrangements for the Billboard Awards on May 17, and Bieber and Gomez were arranged to sit next to each other. The photo was captioned, “U wanted proof @justinbieber & @selenagomez @billboard seats r 2gether? Here u go!”
Bieber was also nominated for Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Social Artist and Top Pop Artist. His album, Believe was up for Top Pop Album.
He posted on Twitter earlier on Sunday, "Rehearsal looked good. 2 performances tonight . Make sure to watch. #BillboardAwards."
Bieber was seen perfoming his song Take You, among other artists and presenters at the awards ceremony like Prince, Ke$ha, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cee Lo Green, Kelly Rowland and Shania Twain.
