Angelina Jolie refuses to relent and allows only four hours to Brad Pitt to meet their kids on Christmas.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce was the highlight of this year and even though 2016 is coming to a close, the warring couple does not seem to show any sign of reconciliation. In fact, it is getting worse and the upcoming Christmas would be really sad for the actor.
Jolie has limited Brad Pitt's meeting time with their six kids on Christmas day and he would get to spend only four hours with them, reports Daily Star. Despite being an important day associated with generosity, Jolie has not shown any kindness towards her ex-husband.
According to sources, it is going to be one of the most miserable events for him. Ge will have to use every ounce of his acting skill to put up a brave face in front of his kids on Christmas.
Notably, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's custody battle has been getting worse with time. As of now, the children are staying with her and Pitt is only allowed to visit them. He has been also ordered to undergo counseling as it was his alleged fight with eldest son Maddox that led Jolie to file for divorce, even though she cited irreconcilable differences for the separation.
Though it was thought that Pitt's affair with his Allied co-star Marion Cotillard caused the split, later it came out that Pitt's violent behavior and drug abuse were the causes. However, the 52-year actor got a major reprieve last month when the Department of Children and Family Services gave him a clean chit and some say that the custody battle may land in his favor, reports The Sun.
Brad Pitt is fighting hard for the custody and he also requested the court to seal the divorce documents and prevent them from becoming public. Though the judge refused, another hearing is scheduled in January next year.
The lawyers of the actor are hopeful that he would get some relief. Till then, he would have to be content with the occasional meetings.
It is worth mentioning here that the divorce of Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie has become quite nasty with the actress preparing to go on all-out war against him.
