NBA Trade Rumors: Nerlens Noel To Los Angeles Lakers, Jordan Clarkson To Philadelphia 76ers [VIDEO]
The Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers are two struggling teams in the early going of the NBA regular season. But rumors are now spreading that the two teams are said to be in trade talks with Nerlens Noel and Jordan Clarkson as part of the rumored deal.
Trade rumors still haunt Noel and the 76ers team since the offseason last summer. Noel was reportedly involved in a rift with the 76ers management regarding what he called 'silly' situation of the team for having 3 big men in the starting lineup. Since then, the 76ers was allegedly considers trading Noel and placed him on the trading block.
As for the Lakers, they got a great start in the season but just recently they lost 9 out of their last 10 games relegating them to the 11th spot of the Western Conference division. Now, many are saying that the Lakers must make a shake-up on their roster if they want to salvage their season. And it looks like that they interested of having Noel as per recent reports.
According to The Inquisitr, a rumored trade deal is said to be under discussion between the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers. Trade scenario is saying that the 76ers will send Nerlens Noel to the Lakers in exchange for guard Jordan Clarkson.
The report also says that trade will also work under the NBA trade rules and salary cap restriction making it a legal deal for both teams. Though the Lakers already have Timofey Mozgov manning the middle, many say that he is not committed for long-term and may not be the answer in the center spot. But will this trade lure the Lakers management to give up Clarkson for an injury prone Noel?
On a separate report by FOXSports.com, the Lakers might not incline of trading Jordan Clarkson as it will only disrupt the chemistry of the Lakers young core. As of late, Clarkson, D'Angelo Russell, Julius Randle and even rookie Brandon Ingram are helping the cause of the team.
A possible trade offer is said to be Mozgov and Luol Deng for Nerlens Noel as per stated in the report. Mozgov will subsequently replace Noel in the 76ers rotation while Deng will boost the starting forward for them. This deal could be the best viable option for both teams as well.
