Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Welcome Baby Boy
It's a boy this time for Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck.
Samuel Garner Affleck, born on Monday, joins big sisters Seraphina, 3, and Violet, 6, who had been busy brainstorming names for the little guy.
"Our girls are working on names. At first they were definitely Disney. It was like Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck," Garner told Jay Leno recently. "And then they've moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Smee."
But Smee was not to be. Affleck announced his son's name on his Facebook page today.
The couple, who have been married since 2005, announced they were expecting last August and have kept mum on the sex of the baby.
"It would be so weird to have a boy," the actress told Ellen DeGeneres, but also said the experience would be "cool and different."
Affleck has also joked about wanting a boy, saying the unfair 3-to-1 ratio in the household has left him significantly outnumbered.
Garner plays a mother in her new film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, set for release on August 15.
