Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Weight Gain, Khloe Defends Sister From ‘Vicious People’ In Online Message
Khloe Kardashian has come to the defense of her sister Kim Kardashian, who has been criticized for the weight she has gained during her pregnancy.
Kim posted on her website a note that was penned by her younger sister. In the missive, Khloe took aim at critics who have attacked Kim over her appearance in recent months.
Kim is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West this summer. Khloe said she could relate to the pressure that Kim was under since she has also been a target of the same criticisms regarding weight gain. Khloe found it disturbing for society to ever judge a woman's shape, much less a pregnant woman's body.
"For anyone to ever criticize a woman who is growing another life inside of her is true scum in my eyes," Khloe wrote.
Khloe said that she wanted this to be one of the happiest times in Kim's life. She said she would hurt if all Kim remembered during her pregnancy was the "abuse" she received from "vicious people." Khloe said that words had a way of doing permanent damage and asked that some of Kim's detractors think more wisely.
"Words are a powerful weapon, all I ask is that you think of the consequences of your words," Khloe relayed.
The younger Kardashian further declared that Kim was one of the strongest people that she has ever known. She commended Kim for being able to smile and not put her head down even as others would go into hiding. Khloe said that Kim has made the best out of a bad situation and that she was truly magnificent.
"You may be one of the most beautiful women I have ever laid my eyes on. Your beauty runs deeper then just what some may see," Khloe wrote. "And as usual you will always take the high road! I couldn't be prouder to be your sister!!!"
Khloe also went on to write that she saw the beauty in Kim's soul and that she was left heartbroken by what she perceived as attacks on Kim's growing body and how it left Kim sad. She said her sister was perfect as is and that the negativity surrounding Kim would only serve to make her stronger.
Kim responded to the message with appreciation, saying, "I have the best sister in the world! I wake up to notes like this. I love you very much Khloe! Xo."
