Miley Cyrus 2016: Quitting 'The Voice,' Moving To Australia With Liam Hemsworth? [VIDEO]
Could Miley Cyrus be considering quitting The Voice after starring on the show for just one season?
Although the singer and actress confirmed two months ago that she would be returning to the show for its 13th season next fall, a new report suggests that she may ditch the show in lieu of a role on the Australian version of the series.
“Miley has been offered an extremely lucrative deal to be a judge on The Voice in Australia for Season 6,” a source close to the pop star revealed to Radar Online on Wednesday, adding that the "Wrecking Ball" singer would be featured on a panel with Boy George.
According to the report, Cyrus and her fiance are planning to get married "soon," and will likely do so in Australia.
“Liam is all about the move. He has been itching to return home to Australia for quite some time now,” the insider explained to the outlet.
Meanwhile, Cyrus' family, including her mom Tish Cyrus, is less than thrilled with the idea.
“Miley’s mom really does not want her leaving, but she is going to go where the money is,” said the source, adding, “Her main priority in life right is marrying Liam and if she can go back to Australia with him and make a fortune, she sees this as a win-win situation.”
