Nokia Z2 Plus will be the latest Nokia smartphone to be hitting the markets this coming 2017. New phones will be released in the coming year and a lot of tech experts have become excited about the next launch of the once Finland-based company.

After the latest Nokia P leak, the latest leak promises a whole new level of Smartphone experience with core specs flying high for Nokia Z2 Plus.

According to Tech Times, different sources had hinted about the next Nokia Smartphone releases but none of them revealed anything about the Z2 Plus. But the GeekBench has revealed some of the expected releases like the Nokia D1C, Nokia C1 and Nokia P.

Geekbench specs pegged it with a Snapdragon 820 powered processor. Upcoming smartphone from Nokia does not look like any other Nokia phone, company is expected to deliver a new kind of high in the industry.

Other specs of the Nokia Z2 Plus includes 4 GB of RAM and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on out of the box, this is which is a bit odd considering that Android 7.0 Nougat is out and about. Alternatively, the benchmark could also have tested an earlier version of the handset.

The Geekbench listing also reveals that the Nokia Z2 Plus scored 2,100 points in single-core benchmarking tests and 5,100 in multi-core. One core is said to be clocked at exactly 1,77Ghz.

Snapdragon 821 was proved to be a powerful processor in the market so far in 2016 with its exceptional performance as seen in the Samsung Galaxy S7. But the 2017 flagships are expected to run on Qualcomm's recently-released "Snapdragon 835."

Currently, Nokia Smartphones are produced under HMD Global, who acquired the rights from Microsoft to manufacture their devices. Various reports are indicating that the first handsets will be released by the company in the early 2017.

Tech experts believe that Nokia Android Smartphones will be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, which is coming this February or March.

So, if you are such a Nokia brand fan, Nokia Z2 Plus and Nokia P leaks are good indicators that Nokia is indeed back in the mobile industry leadership game.
