Gionee has released a luxury smartphone M2017 in the market shelves of China. This handset is armed with top caliber specs which include 7,000 mAH capacity battery, Snapdragon 653 Soc chipset and other powerful features.

According to Engadget, Gionee has taken a different approach in creating its luxury smartphone Gionee M2017. The company has gave its patrons one huge feature that provides them a reason to pay a premium for the handset.

The Gionee M2017 is a metal-and-leather 5.7-inch phone that is powered by a gigantic 7,000mAh capacity battery which might be a larger power pack compared to some tablets. With this huge battery pack, the company approximated that it will last for nearly 32 hours of talk time and 26 hours of non-stop video or adequate few days of moderate use. So, if the user is in business industry then he might never need to charge during an all-important day trip.

Aside from that, Yibada noted that the Gionee M2017 will boast a 5.7-inch dual-edge curved screen with quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels armored with sapphire glass protection. This handset is also armed with a pixel count of 518 ppi. The M2017 is engineered with Snapdragon 653 Soc chipset.

The Gionee M2017 is packed with a huge 6 GB of RAM and is available in two internal storage variants of 128 GB and 256 GB. This smartphone does not have a microSD card slot. It will hit the market shelves pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS customized with Amigo 3.5 UI.

As for the camera department, Gionee M2017 is equipped with 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel dual rear cameras which offer 2x optical zoom as well as 8x digital zoom. On the front, it sports an 8-megapixel camera good for selfies.

When it comes with the price, Gionee M2017 is priced at 6,999 Yuan (around $1,008). A special variant of the smartphone that features Italian custom alligator leather on its rear side is tagged at 16,999 Yuan (around $ 2,446). Moreover, there is no available information about the handset's international release.
