Jennifer Lawrence has been busy filming X-Men: Days of Future Past and the film's director leaked a photo of the Oscar winner in full body makeup for her role as Mystique.

Bryan Singer, the film director for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, gave fans a first look of the 22-year-old as the comic book character. Lawrence is completely covered in blue body paint and wearing yellow contact lenses and a bright red wig.

Singer captioned the photo on Twitter, "First look: #JenniferLawrence as a vengeful #Mystique. #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast."

The new look makes it difficult to determine whether Lawrence is in the nude with body paint or wearing a bodysuit. However, Lawrence revealed she will be wearing a bodysuit when filming begins..

"I'm so excited because I'm going to wear a body suit," Lawrence reportedly told E! about the role as a younger Mystique in the latest X-Men film.

The Silver Linings Playbook actress expressed gratitude for modern technology that will spare her the eight hours it took when she filmed X-Men: First Class. She said about the new filming process, "It will be from [the] neck down so it will cut out time and the blisters."

Rebecca Romijn played the raven-haired beauty in the first X-Men film. In 2011, Lawrence told E! News she got "a couple of things" from the makeup transformation process while shooting First Class. She said she had "weird boils, rashes, and blisters" and that a doctor had to arrive on the film's set to "pop them."

Lawrence recently landed No. 5 on Maxim's Hot 100 List, after having earned a slew of awards for Silver Linings Playbook earlier this year.

X-Men: Days of Future Past will hit theaters on July 18, 2014.
