Aside from rehab, Lindsay Lohan has another battle to fight.

The actress has been sued by a clothing company for $5 million, according to the New York Daily News.

The 26-year-old initially sued the DNAM clothing line claiming that the company had never paid her the $1.1 million it owed her for her 6126 Collection.

The clothing line, however, isn't looking to reimburse Lohan. Instead, on Friday, DNAM countersued the star stating that her reputation has negatively impacted sales of the clothing line.

As reported by the newspaper, the clothing line said the collection with Lohan was "very well received" when it went on sale in 2010. That same year, things went sour as legal troubles began to follow the actress. For example, Lohan violated her probation after receiving a DUI and also faced jail time. In 2011, Lohan was also in the news because she was accused of stealing a diamond necklace from a trade show in Las Vegas.

Following incidents such as these, DNAM claims that the line was no longer in demand. In turn, the company wants the $5 million as compensation for Lohan's behavior, which it claims was the reason the brand was not successful.

Still, Kristi Kaylor, Lohan's former 6126 business partner, spoke in defense of the actress.

"The DNAM countersuit against 6126 is frivolous and misrepresents the facts," Kaylor told E! News. "DNAM knows that it is in breach of the 6126 licensee agreement, and this suit is clearly nothing more than a transparent defense maneuver. Lindsay and I worked for over three years to build the 6126 brand and ensure its success; DNAM is merely trying to get out of honoring its financial obligations."

Her lawyer Perry C. Wander also defended Lohan.

"Furthermore Lindsay worked hard on developing the 6126 brand and designing a full line of clothing. DNAM is simply trying to avoid its financial responsibility under the license agreement," Wander said in a statement.
