Jodi Arias testified in court on Tuesday in a bid to save her life in in the third phase of her near six-month trial.
The convicted murderer will likely learn on Wednesday if she will be given a sentence of life in prison or the death penalty. The live court session for the sentence announcement will begin at 1 p.m. EST on May 22. It can be watched online via the free live stream below.
Arias asked the jury to not give her the death penalty after her defense attorneys and prosecutors gave their closing arguments on Tuesday.
During her testimony, Arias showed her baby pictures of herself, shared childhood memories, artwork she has been selling on Ebay while behind bars and a T-shirt with the "Survivor" printed on the front. She said she will sell the T-shirts and proceeds will go toward a chairty that supports victims of domestic violence.
Several hours after Arias begged the jury to spare her life, she spoke to several media news outlets after Judge Sherry Stephens lifted a media ban.
Arias spoke with TODAY news reporter Diana Alvear from Estrella Prison after the court session ended. In the interview that aired on Wednesday, Alvear told Arias that many people would like to see her handed the death penalty and asked her what her thoughts were on that.
"That's not harsh... that's revenge," Arias replied.
She then said she felt "betrayed" by the jury:
"I was hoping they would see things for what they are. I felt really awful for my family and what they were thinking. Whatever they come back with I will have to deal with it: I have no other choice."
Arias said she didn't think that Alexander deserved to die when Alvear asked her if she felt her ex-lover should have been killed for the abuse she claimed she suffered during their relationship.
"I don't believe Travis deserved to die,'' she said. "I do have memory gaps, and I wish that I could take back everything that happened. If I could take it back, I would do that in a second."
Arias told Alvear that she contemplated suicide during the almost six-month trial. She was asked if it was out of guilt or remorse, Arias quickly replied, "no (because) I've hurt a lot of people."
"And I (thought) I'll be doing everyone a favor (by committing suicide)," she added.

Arias was found guilty of murder in the first-degree on May 8 and the jury reached a "cruel manner" verdict on May 15. "Cruel manner" is when a victim suffered physical and or mental pain, according to Arizona law.
According to the autopsy report, Arias stabbed her victim almost 30 times, slit his throat from ear to ear and shot him in the forehead. The report showed that some of Alexander's stab wounds included cuts on his hands which were caused when he tried to prevent Arias from stabbing him repeatedly
