Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X Is Now TENAA Certified; Leaks Reveal Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC, 4GB RAM, And More [Video]
Xiaomi has recently unveiled new colour variants for Redmi Note 4, and now company is rumoured to be working on the successor to the phone, which is said to be dubbed the Redmi Note 4X. The suspected upcoming smartphone from Xiaomi has further been tipped to pack Snapdragon 653 processor and 4GB of RAM. The design of the phone has been leaked with a live image.
In a leaked image of the 'About phone' section of the alleged device, the phone is clearly earmarked as the Note 4X. The phone in the leaked images is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.1 running on top.
The alleged Redmi Note 4X smartphone is expected to come with 64GB of storage, with 4GB of RAM, according to TechUpdate3. Another live image of the alleged phone has been spotted by the website shows the specs of the phone and confirms that it will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The specs and live image were spotted on popular Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo.
Big news comes from the GSM Arena, which says that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X has got TENAA approved certification in China.
TENAA confirms the specs of phone on having 4GB of RAM and will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage options. The certification agency photos also show that the Note 4X will look very similarly to the Note 4.
The similarities continue on the inside, too. The Redmi Note 4X will be featuring a Mediatek Helio X20 chip and a 4,100mAh battery. Device is expected to launch along with the Redmi Note 4, which is to launch in mid-January.
Rumored device's predecessor Redmi Note 4 is having with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D glass design. The device is powered by a 2.1GHz Deca-Core Helio X20 processor, and comes in two versions 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB/64GB ROM. It comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front shooter.
