Nicki Minaj was spotted on the film set of her first movie, The Other Woman, in New York City on Tuesday.

The American Idol 2013 judge was photographed while in-between takes for her role in the upcoming film, directed by Nick Cassavetes. The High school rapper shared what she was up to that day on Twitter: "2nd day of shooting #TheOtherWoman in NYC. Got a suprise for u tmrw."

Minaj was photographed leaving her trailer during the film's production. The Queens native was spotted with her signature platinum blonde hair with blunt bangs, and was wearing a black bathrobe to cover up her wardrobe for the shoot.

One photo showed Minaj's bodyguard waiting for her as she exits the trailer. Another photo showed the 30-year-old walking to the set alongside her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, to meet up with the film's lead star Cameron Diaz.

Diaz, 40, plays the lead as a spurned girlfriend of a man she is dating. Mail Online revealed that when her character learns that she is not her boyfriend's only love interest, she meets up with his wife to plot revenge. The Other Woman also stars two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model Kate Upton and Leslie Mann.

Minaj was in New York City for filming two days after she performed at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday. She won three awards that night, including Top Streaming Artist, Top Rap Artist, and Top Rap Album for last studio effort, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded - Nicki Minaj.

Minaj provided a risque' routine where she performed a lap dance with her mentor and High School single guest rapper Lil' Wayne during their joint performance.

She revealed in a recent interview that her sexy performances was the reason she was the only judge on American Idol season 12 to not perform on the show's season finale on May 15.

"I had already committed to the Billboard Awards to perform my single, so I wasn't allowed to perform on Idol and perform on Billboard," she told Life & Style. "I was also supposed to premiere my High School music video on Idol, but they said it was too risqué."

The Other Woman will arrive in theaters in 2014.
