What was Brad Pitt like before he hit stardom?
Thanks to Yahoo!'s Daytime In No Time host Nikki Boyer, new high school photos of the A-list actor have come to light. Boyer asked twitter followers if they grew up with someone who later became famous. To her surprise she received a message form a woman, Diane White, who said she went to high school with Pitt.
After digging through some old secondary school memorabilia, White came across a few unseen pics of the starwhen he was a teenager.
By far the most intriguing one picture shows the World War Z star dressed in a high school cheerleader's outfit. Taken around 1981, the photo shows Pitt sporting the black and yellow colors of Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri while participating in the powder-puff football game, according to omg. With his eyes shut, Pitt performs a cheer while donning pom pom hair and a stuffed bra.
Pitt may be closing in on his 50th birthday, but a picture from the summer of either 1979 or 1980 shows a scrawny teen. Shirtless at a neighborhood pool, Pitt had not yet developed the physique that fans later see in his films. Instead he is seen looking at the ground, arms crossed with his eyes nearly hidden under a mop of blond hair.
Pitt can be seen in the June release of the zombie fueled film World War Z.
