Taylor Swift & Harry Styles Battle at 2013 Teen Choice Awards for 'Choice Smile' Honor
Exes Taylor Swift and Harry Styles will go head-to-head at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards for the coveted Choice Smile award, voted for by their fans.
The singers dated in 2012 and famously toured London together and shared a kiss on New Year's Eve in the center of Times Square as the ball dropped. However, things turned sour shortly after and they broke up in early 2013 following a trip they took to the British Virgin Islands. Now the two will try to beat each other at the awards show, which will be aired on Fox on Aug. 11.
Styles is also nominated for Choice Male Hottie as well as the Choice Music Group with his One Direction band mates. They are up against rival British boy band The Wanted in the latter category. Swift is up for Female Country Music Artist and her fellow nominees in the Choice Female Artist category are Rihanna and Pink.

This is not the first time Swift and Styles battle each other for awards. Most recently, at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, they were nominated for four of the same awards: Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Social Artist and Top Billboard 200 Artist. In the end, Swift won all them all except for Top Social Artist, which went to Justin Bieber.
Swift also took to the stage at the Billboard Awards with a performance of her new single, 22.
The former couple again was up for the same recognitions at the Radio Disney Music Awards in April and again, Swift beat her ex-boyfriend. She took home the Song of the Year award for I Knew You Were Trouble, not long after she admitted in a March interview that the song was written with Styles in mind.
