Selena Gomez Not Pregnant After Canceled Twitter Chat, Source Says [PHOTOS]
Rumors swirled that singer Selena Gomez was pregnant after she called off a live VEVO UK Twitter chat with fans on Tuesday because she was sick.
According to reports, the singer also canceled a number of interviews on Wednesday still under the weather, which fueled even more rumors that she was expecting a baby with Justin Bieber.
After an interview with Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's Breakfast Show Thursday, Gomez took to her Twitter account to confirm the disappointing news that she was forced to cancel a few scheduled commitments.
"Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today. I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible. I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow. So Sorry :( Love you guys," Selena wrote on May 22.
Fans chimed in and responding to her post, with some indicating that she was walking around with a baby bump.
"Oh my Gosh.... Selena Gomez is Pregnant!! LOL lmao xoxo," a Twitter user wrote, according to Hollywood Life.com.
Another fan wrote: "Yall are crazy every time selena gomez gets sick y'all think she is pregnant like do u know how stupid ur tweet looks and u."
A source close to the 20-year-old singer said that she is not pregnant and won't be looking forward to a baby any time soon.
"She is not pregnant, that is definitely not in the career path right now or anytime soon," the source said.
Gomez and Bieber have made headlines this past week after they were spotted kissing backstage at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night.
A video of the kiss was allegedly caught on camera and Gomez's friend Taylor Swift was stood nearby was seen making a disgusted reacton. According to sources, Swift is not a fan of Bieber and Gomez's relationship.
"Let's just put it this way: Taylor is not a Belieber. She loves Selena and wants her to be happy but she doesn't think going back and forth with Justin is the answer," a source said.
