'50 Shades of Grey' Movie Casting: Would Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively's Real-Life Chemistry Sizzle Onscreen? VIDEO & Details
As the 50 Shades of Grey movie buzz keeps on keeping on, a slew of household names have worked their way into the mix as potential suitors for the groundbreaking roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
However, within that batch of prospective candidates lie a few real-life couples that fans wouldn't mind seeing together in the S&M-dominated film. One of which are Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
Although Reynolds is a bit older than the 27-year-old described Grey at 36, he clearly has all the physical attributes and facial features to pull off the role.
Lively, 25, is clearly close to Steele's age, who is listed at 22, and aside from the darkening of her hair, she clearly has the natural beauty and acting chops to successfully embody the role.
Back in September, The Stir gave the following argument in support of the then newly married couple being casted for the highly popular roles.
"Their chemistry would likely be off the charts, simply because they've only been married for a few days, so they're smack dab in the middle of the honeymoon phase of their lives right now. This is typically the time when things are the hottest between any married couple."
Screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who is currently penning the 50 Shades movie script, had stated that the flick would be staying true to the book with lots of sex and raunchiness, as the producers are shooting for an NC-17 rating, according to Style Magazine.
Although the producers have yet to officially attach a director to the franchise, it's slated for its big screen release in summer of 2014, and will be shot in London.
