Microsoft is expected to unveil its most anticipated gadget Microsoft Surface Pro 5 in March. The much-rumored Surface Pen with the feature of magnetic charging is also expected to be launched with Pro 5.
The Redmond-based company had showcased their advanced Surface Pro 5 in October 2016 ever. Consumers who expected an early release after the showcasing, however, were disappointed.
Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be using the "Kaby Lake" processor that is an upgrade from "Skylake" and is currently the latest Intel processor for laptops. It will sport a powerful core i7.The Surface Pro 5 is also rumored to come with a 12.5 inch 4K screen and is expected to support running 3D at 60 fps. It is also rumored that Microsoft will replace Super AMOLED screens to IPS touch ones, reports CNET.
The specs for the said device include magnetic charging stylus that can charge bereft of any wires and Ultra HD as noted by Forbes. The Surface Pen will have its own rechargeable battery, which can be easily charged by placing it on its dock. Therefore, the user will not need to connect it to any kind of wires for charging.
Meanwhile, users of the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 can look forward to an exciting cinematic experience also on the device, that because it is expected to come with 12.5-inch 4K display. Thus, Microsoft is further planning to go in for IPS Touch screens instead of the Super AMOLEDscreens. Microsoft is also rumored to have added a USB C port to the upcoming device.
The price for Surface Pro 5 varies from $899 and it can boost up to $2000 depending on the hardware and accessories added. You can get an Intel Core M3 CPU version with 128 SSD and 4GB or RAM plus a touchscreen stylus for $899. For additional speed, you can get the more powerful Intel Skylake processor for $999 and to upgrade the storage into 256 GB SSD and the RAM to 8GB and you will get the Surface Pro 5 for $1299.
According to Yahoo, the Surface Pro 5 will also feature an eSIM. This option will help the users to use the internet while they are travelling.
