Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Dating: Singet Gushes Over Beau's Success, 'How Are You Even Real?' [VIDEO]
He's celebrating the fact that the latest single from his If I'm Honest album has hit number one on the radio, and Gwen Stefani couldn't contain her excitement over Blake Shelton's success on her social media accounts.
Shelton initially took to Twitter to thank his fans for helping bring the song, "Guy With A Girl," which is believed to be about Stefani, to such a high designated status.
"Wow!! 'Guy With a Girl' is #1 at radio!!! Thank y'all!!!! Thank you country radio!! And thank you Warner Nashville!!!" He wrote.
Stefani quickly shared her own appreciation and support for her beau reaching the milestone moment, simply wondering if he could genuinely be a real person with that success.
"How r u real?! #uramazing #luckytoknowu #everyonelovesBS #guywithagirl ##1," she wrote alongside a series of emojis.
Shelton has previously virtually confirmed that the hit song is about his girlfriend of more than a year, often alluding in interviews to being invisible when he's with her because people always want to meet her-a sentiment that is expressed in the song's lyrics.
"I'm just thr guy with the girl everybody wants to know/Wishin' you were there alone/Wonderin' how I ever got your little hand in mine/Lookin over at ya like 'Ain't she beautiful?'/I'm invisible but I stand right there and smile/You're right beside me, oh and I see the same thing they're seein'/But I don't mind being the guy with the girl, no," he sings in the song.
The duo, who also recorded the duet "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" for Shelton's album, will also be together again when the newest season of the Voice premieres on NBC, as Stefani returns as a third-time judge, marking the first time the two will be on-set full-time together since going public with their romance in November 2015.
Shelton even opened up about having his girlfriend back on the show, admitting they were both initially nervous about it, but are now looking forward to what it will mean in terms of the competition between not only them, but fellow coaches Adam Levine and Alicia Keys.
"We were both nervous about it. [We wondered], 'How is this going to work?'" Shelton said during an interview with CMT. "But it brings a new level of competition to the show. Just when you think 12 seasons in it kind of is what it is, It's not anymore. With her and I in this relationship, it's so exciting! It truly is!"
