The AMD Radeon RX 500 Series is still under in a big mystery at this point but a slide of small reveals has been taking the internet by storm. The most recent appearance of the upcoming new chips involves the AMD Radeon RX 570 with up to 8GB of VRAM.

According to Tweak Town, the RX 570 was spotted on the specifications list of the upcoming Samsung Notebook Odyssey during the CES 2017 event, under Graphics section. The said graphics card was listed with either 4GB or 8GB of memory.

Apart from the AMD chip, the Notebook will also sport the NVIDIA GTX 1070. Hence, the tech enthusiasts speculating that the upcoming AMD RX 570 could more or less feature the same power as the NVIDIA chip.

Reddit user crazybubba64 has also claimed that it is not a typo, according to the Samsung representative at the CES 2017 booth. However, no additional details were revealed then.

An AMD representative, on the other side has confirmed that the AMD Radeon RX 570 chip is an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) version of the RX 470, so now this puts the whole 500 series as an OEM rebrand of the 400 series, noted the Redditor.

This recent leak has followed just a few days after the internet saw a presumed accidental reveal of another one from AMD's 500 Series: the RX 560M, as per MobiPicker. Lenovo's description of their forthcoming Y520 laptop mentioned it having Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti or the RX 560M for the next-generation graphics. It can be concluded that the AMD Radeon RX 560M will compete with the recently unveiled GTX 1050.

As of now, there are little to no details about AMD's new lineup. However, it is entirely possible that they are based on the new Vega 10 architecture but consumers may still see some Polaris-based GPUs mixed in. Release date, pricing and other details for AMD Radeon RX 570 will be revealed soon.
