Jennifer Aniston Plans Return To The Small Screen; Actress Says That’s Where Quality Stories Are Made [Report]
Jennifer Aniston just made her plan of returning to the small screen and diverts her focus and priority from the big budget films. This is another change of plans after failing to impress the Hollywood with her recent roles in the big screen.
Jen just admitted that she has a better future in television rather that in big screen. When she was interviewed by Variety, she shared that she already thought of it a lot since she believes that it is where the works really is found.
As shared by Celeb Dirty Laundry, in this point of her career, she wants to be a part of beautiful stories, having good time and wonderful characters. To consider, her husband, Justin Theroux is part of "The Leftovers" of HBO. Perhaps, her husband was able to convince her to stop making Hollywood movies and find a good television role instead.
Jennifer Aniston became a household name when she also stared as Rachel Green in the popular sitcom, "Friends." When the show ended in 2004, Jen was able to sign to a dozen of films so she was also able to make a name in Hollywood. That time then, she has been considered as an A-list star and of course without forgetting her marriage to another A-list celebrity, Brad Pitt.
Because of the possible transition, some people speculated that what really pushed Aniston to return to the small screen has something to do with her past movies. The actress even failed to get an Oscar nomination for her role in the film, "Cake." She had even a difficult time getting serious roles. Because of this, she usually lands in slapstick comedies which would all end up bombing at the box office.
Her latest movie, "Office Christmas Party" failed to impress the audience as well as the critics as reported by Den of Geek. Because of this, she wants to go back to where she started, in television roles.
Well if this will happen, many won't be surprised since Jennifer Aniston has been known for her role and character in "Friends", which is better than any role she played in her movies.
