Katie Holmes News: Tom Cruise’s Former Wife Not Mad Of ‘The Arrangements’ Familiar Storyline [Report]
The new television series on E! titled The Arrangement has made noise for carrying a theme the same with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes love story. Allegedly, the 38-year-old actress got mad when she heard the news, but one publication slammed the report and said she is perfectly fine with it.
A web tabloid reported that the Dawson's Creek star is angry because of the new drama series that seems inspired by her and her former husband's story. "Katie Holmes Outraged Over New E! Drama Inspired by Her Real-Life Tom Cruise Marriage and Scientology Hell?" the headline reads.
According to Gossip Cop, the website's report is not true as it doesn't have even a single source to support its claim. It also read that Katie Holmes is not interested to see her past being watched by the many on television.
In fact, a rep of the former model guaranteed that the coming of The Arrangement doesn't make her outraged. The show's storyline is quite familiar for having similarities with the parents of Suri Cruise's life story and the Mission Impossible actor's religion, Scientology.
Enstarz recently reported that the new television series features the tale of the young girl named Megan Morrison (Christine Evangelista), who is dreaming of being a big star. She will be helped by the high-profile actor Kyle West (Josh Henderson), who will offer her a million-dollar contract to be with him.
Later, it will be revealed that the one responsible for the made-up agreement is Kyle's manager Terence Anderson (Michael Vartan), the leader of a secret self-help organization called The Institute of The Higher Mind. A lot of people deem that the plot of The Arrangement is like Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's story with its evident similarities.
However, the upcoming show's showrunner Jonathan Abrahams slammed the report. "It really isn't," he said at the Television Critics' Association press tour. "I just saw this as a truly unique story that takes place in Hollywood and our characters are very unique in their own right."
