Celebrities have a history of being stalked but it's not often that their family members have their own safety to fear, well until now.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence's brother, Blaine Lawrence, was stalked by a Canadian man who was trying to get as close as he could to the actress, according to a report by The Associated Press published on Friday, May 24. The stalker named Zhao Han Cong, 23, is facing charges for repeatedly harrassing Blaine. It was recorded that since April 4, Cong has made numerous phone calls and sent emails at crazy hours like 2 a.m.

One reason Cong asked Blaine to put him in contact with the star was because he felt she was in danger, according to the affidavit written by FBI Special Agent Richard Boswell III. The document states that Cong also blamed the star's brother for letting his sister visit Boston before the Boston Marathon bombings occurred in April.

Boswell's document also explained that the stalker even took a cab to the Indian Hills Police Department, located in Louisville, Ky. in April, to obtain the actress's mother's home address. While police questioned him for three hours, Cong referred to himself "as the second coming of Jesus and said Lawrence's mother had what he needed to complete his journey," as also reported by The Associated Press.

Donald J. Meier, who is Cong's lawyer, asked that the 23-year-old go through a psychiatric examination before resuming the case against him.

As for the Oscar-winning actress, she is currently filming X-Men: Days of Future Past, the adventure flick in which she plays Raven Darkholme also known as Mystique. The movie is expected for release in July 2014, according to IMDB.
