Motorola's follow-up to the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones have been limited so far. But apparently, the company is again making headlines as alleged pictures of the highly-anticipated Motorola G Plus smartphone has surfaced on the Internet.

The phones will be an addition in the G series of Motorola and are reportedly named Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. It seems like the Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set and ready with its 2017 flagship smartphones.

The leaked images reveal some vital information about the specs and features of the upcoming Motorola G and G Plus smartphones. Purportedly, the yet-to-be announced smartphone can be seen running the CPU-Z app.

The images are also said to show the front of Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus, but are not clear enough to make out any notable difference from their fourth-generation counterparts. Considering that the images may be factual, it seems like only the Moto G5 Plus will keep the fingerprint sensor on the front while the Moto G5 will not.

Reportedly, said smartphone, codenamed XT1685, is expected to come powered with Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2GHz. It will allegedly feature a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.

The phone will sport 5.5 inches full HD (1920 x 1080p) display screen. It will also have a battery power of 3,100 mAh and run Android 7.0 Nougat.

Rumors say that the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will both feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Both the smartphones will be powered by an octa-core processor and both will come with a turbo charging support.

Additionally, even on the camera front, it seems that both Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus will feature a 5MP front facing camera. Allegedly, these specs are indeed fantastic for a Moto smart phone.
