Eminem Praises Royce Da 5’9”; Collaboration With Demi Lovato, Skylar Grey, Snoop Dog For 2017 Album Expected
After supposedly teasing his new album lyrics on a radio show, Eminem is now back in news and this time he has showered praise on Royce Da 5'9" for his freestyle over DJ Khaled's "I Got the Keys."
On Monday Royce Da 5'9" shared a text message from Eminem on Instagram that showed how much the white rapper respected and admired this fellow from Detroit, reports Billboard. His fiery freestyle made Eminem say that they are devastating and incredible. He jokingly said that he hates him and he should die. Notably, this freestyle on "I Got the Keys" boasts of some memorable punchlines.
Also, this is the second freestyle offering from Royce in the current month. The previous one was on Phresher's "Wait a Minute." So, is this an indication of Eminem looking to collaborate with Royce for his next album? There is no clear answer as yet and one will have to wait for some more positive developments. However, there is a possibility as they have collaborated in the past for Bad Meets Evil's album "Hell: The Sequel," which released in 2011.
Speaking of collaboration, there are many artists who have expressed a desire to work with Eminem for his new album. Demi Lovato has revealed that it is her dream to work with the Detroit rapper. Skylar Grey has said that she would like to work with him once again as she enjoyed working with him for their duet "Kill For You." Juicy J is also keen to collaborate with him and has disclosed her desire in a radio show.
Nevertheless, Eminem has still not confirmed any name and all one knows is that he tested Kendrick Lamar for ghostwriting, claims Tripped Media. This information came out via Ed Sheeran who revealed that Eminem had heard that Kendrick Lamar was the best rapper and so, he invited him to his studio for a song. Lamar came with his friends but Eminem said that he wanted him on his own and that his mates are not allowed.
It is worth mentioning here that the last album of Eminem "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" came out in 2013.
