Hunger Games: Catching Fire actor Liam Hemsworth recently admitted that he is still not used to the fame he has received and he merely feels "fortunate" to have enjoyed success in his career.

The 23-year-old Aussie also does not think he is a heartthrob, despite him millions of fans believing otherwise.

"I'm truly fortunate to be part of this whole process after The Hunger Games. But I'm taking it day by day," he told Us Weekly. He does not understand the chatter over his looks, saying that while he does put in the effort to have take care of his physique, he does not see himself as a poster boy.

''I grew up surfing in Australia. I keep fit, I'm active and I eat very well. I don't consider myself a heartthrob in any way, though. I'm just pinching myself.''

The actor lives manly in Los Angeles now, though much of his family remains in Australia. One of his brothers is Thor star Chris Hemsworth and Liam in California spends time working on his career and on his relationship with fiancee Miley Cyrus. Liam may not comprehend the attention circulating around his looks, but many are looking to Cyrus' attributes as well - the Can't Be Tamed singer topped Maxim's Hot 100 List this year.

Liam said he misses being with his family, and wishes they could always be together.

''Having spent so much time away from my family, I miss being able to share good times with them," he said. "I can't think of anything better than my whole family being together in one place.''

Liam is on a promotional tour for Catching Fire, which comes out in November of 2013. The film screens at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival earlier this month. He stars in the film alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.
