Kate Middleton Hits The Field For Charity Race With Prince William, Prince Harry [VIDEO]
Kate Middleton hits the field at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London on Monday with Prince William and Prince Harry. This activity is in support of their mental health initiative through the Heads Together Foundation.
Kate showed off her competitive skills as she joined William and Harry together with the 150 volunteers in preparation for the 2017 London Marathon. The trio participated in the five-person relay where Harry won.
According to Mail Online, even if she placed third, Kate has been so determined to finish the race which is also showing her full support for the cause of the foundation. This is the first time the Duchess was seen participating in an athletic activity and showing her competitive skills.
Prior to the start of the race, William suddenly grabbed the back of his thigh and jokingly shared, "Oh my hamstring." Prince Harry ended up winning the race, Prince William, second and Kate as third.
After their run, the three even cheered on the other participants as they finished the race. Kate, William, and Harry were seen enjoying the activity and this only proves how dedicated they are in supporting Heads Together Foundation as per POPSUGAR.
Kate Middleton has been considered before as the laziest royal by some reports. But looking at how things are progressing, she is determined to shed off that title and prove this time that she is a working member of the royal family.
It can be recalled that Queen Elizabeth canceled some of the royal couple's vacations and personal trips to give way to their additional royal work and charities. The Queen just handed 25 more national organizations and charities to Kate, William, and Harry.
That means that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have to sacrifice some of their personal trips just to satisfy the demands of the Queen. Besides, it is expected from them more so with Prince William to work more being the second heir to the throne.
Now that reports are swirling that Queen Elizabeth might be stepping down from the throne in the near future, it is expected from Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince Harry to save the British monarchy. Kate needs to stand up this time even if it takes for her to show off some of her competitive abilities.
