New reports suggest that Katy Perry and John Mayer may be getting back together, two months after breaking up.

The two singers reunited at a Memorial Day barbecue hosted by Perry on Monday, according to Us Weekly. Mayer was among many guests to Perry's new home in Hollywood Hills. The couple looked as though they were rekindling their relationship, according to other guests at the barbecue.

"They seem to be back together -- or back together-ish," one source said, "They were very flirty and having a really good time together. They have good chemistry."

"They were definitely friendly," said another.

The 28-year old Perry and the 27-year old Mayer had dated briefly in the summer of 2012 before quickly ending it. The couple then picked it back up again in September and broke up in March of 2013.

When the couple split for a second time, some sources claimed that the breakup would not be a permanent one.

"It's not over until it's over. You have to see how things play out," said one source.

Another: "She's leaving the window open. They have both been so focused on work."

Perry has been busy recording her third studio album after the multi-platinum success of her last album, Teenage Dream. Mayer announced on his Facebook page on Tuesday that he's currently in the studio recording his sixth album as well.

Other guests at the barbecue included sitcom stars Mindy Kaling, BJ Novak, Beth Behrs and Shannon Woodward in addition to Girls star Allison Williams and her boyfriend Ricky Van Veen.

Williams and Van Veen had also double dated with Perry and Mayer at the Grammy Awards in February.

Enstars previously reported that Perry and newly single Robert Pattinson had attended a wedding on Memorial Day weekend together. There is no word on the status of their relationship.
