Samsung has finally confirmed the existence of Samsung Galaxy S8 which undeniably stirred some excitement for the loyal gadget heads. 2016 was not really a great year for Samsung as it was bombarded with exploding battery issues.

The Investor reports that the productions for the said units have already been increased and the shipments have doubled as well. The first shipments of the Samsung Galaxy S8 are reportedly 40% more that the Samsung Galaxy S7 released last year. Further, Samsung is reportedly preparing for the next iPhone launch by securing more OLED panels than usual.
In the previous months, Samsung has remained quite secretive about the details of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. However, several leaks pertaining to the units made its round on the internet, which were quite plausible to the public.
After several months of keeping a low profile, Forbes reports that the Korean tech giant has finally confirmed Samsung Galaxy S8 by putting the phone's official support page live. As of writing, the said support page is still empty except for the model number, SM-G955FD.
Basing on the several leaks that seems to coincide with each other, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to have a 6.2-inch curved 2K AMOLED display that runs on either a Snapdragon, Qualcomm or Exynos chipset and a 64GB internal storage. Other possible Samsung Galaxy S8 features include iris and fingerprint scanners, IP68 water resistance, 4GB RAM and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The camera specs for the Samsung Galaxy S8 remains to be revealed, but the consumers are hoping that Samsung will reclaim its premiere camera spot since it lost to several worthy competitors last year.
