Jessica Simpson Poses Nude, Confirms It's a Girl
Move over, Demi. A very pregnant Jessica Simpson appears au natural on the April cover of Elle, and she looks great.
The 31-year-old singer and fashion business mogul also confirmed that she and fiance Eric Johnson are expecting a girl. Simpson hopes her daughter develops a taste for fashion, claiming she'll "croak" if her little girl wants sneakers instead of Louboutins.
"Eric is so athletic," Simpson says of the NFL free agent. "We're gonna have this athletic girl and I won't even be able to take her shopping, 'cause all she's gonna want is sports bras and Nikes!"
Simpson joins a list of other celebrities who have posed nude while pregnant, including Demi Moore, who started the trend with her 1991 Vanity Fair cover, Cindy Crawford and Britney Spears. Still, the pop star worried about taking it all off, tweeting, "I'm a lil nervous but I've never felt more beautiful or empowered."
Elle's April issue hits newsstands on March 20.
