Charities and people across the nation are teaming up to provide optimal relief to the residents of Moore and Oklahoma City, which were hit hard by a disastrous tornado on May 20.

A slew of those respective charities will also see a surge in relief funds on Wednesday when several musicians with ties to Oklahoma team up to grace the stage at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in downton Oklahoma City for the Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert.

The performers set to belt out tunes for a generous cause include Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert along with Oklahoma natives Reba McEntire and Vince Gill. Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts and Usher will receive airtime as well.

The monies raised by the telethon will go directly to the United Way of Central Oklahoma, according to WPTV.

"Those are the ones that are dealing right now with the immediate needs," said Karla Bradshaw, a spokeswoman for the United Way of Central Oklahoma.

The major tornado shook up the state, and resulted in the deaths of twenty-four individuals, including 10 children.

On Tuesday, the Salvation Army reported that they've accrued more than $5 million in monetary and food donations thus far.

The Healing In The Heartland 60-minute concert will be airing on Wednesday, May 29 at 9/8 p.m. Central. CLICK HERE to watch it via live stream.
