Last year Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg insulted Nicki Minaj to the point that she pulled out of the stations Summer Jam concert.

Now, as the radio station prepares for this year's concert, Minaj says the feud is "water under the bridge," according to an interview she did with Rosenberg.

The disagreement was sparked by Rosenberg's comments about the hip-hop artists song Starships. During last years concert the DJ took the stage to address his displeasure with the tune.

"I know there are some chicks in here waiting to sing along with Starships later," Rosenberg told concertgoers, according to the Inquisitr. "I'm not talking to y'all now. F--- that bulls---. I'm here to talk about real hip-hop s---."

Minaj, who was intended to headline the concert, bailed, as did Lil Wayne.

"I mean it's so long ago. I can't even act like I care anymore, but I appreciate you guys having me," Minaj said during the 27 minute interview. "In hindsight ... I should've just did the show."

However, she still claims that Rosenberg did not have the credentials to make a claim like that on her work.

For his part, last year Rosenberg defended his comments as simply a remark on the song, not a personal attack on Minaj.

""I need it be clear: I gave an opinion on a song," he said, according to the Inquisitr. "And Nicki Minaj and [her label] Young Money decided to skip Summer Jam. Because of an opinion, not a personal attack, nothing derogatory because she's a woman. That's why music is so mediocre nowadays, because no one can give opinions."

It remains to be seen how this years Summer Jam fares.
