Kim Kardashian has placed her vanity over the health of her unborn child by continuing to get plastic surgery, Life & Style alleged in its latest issue on newsstands.

Te reality star is obsessed with maintaining her looks despite her pregnancy, according to the magazine. Kardashian is reportedly due in July but that has not stopped her from undergoing unnecessary cosmetic procedures such as botox.

"She's still getting injections even though she's seven months pregnant," a source said.

The magazine reported that Kardashian has also received gel manicures and spray tans. The source said that the 32-year-old had become more neurotic about her looks because of the weight she has gained in recent months. The insider added that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star would do anything to remain beautiful.

"She's so worried about what she looks like - that's why she's still getting Botox," the source said. "She'll go to any lengths to protect the one thing that's most precious to her: her beauty."

A plastic surgeon who has not treated Kardashian told the magazine that he could tell she had undergone procedures. Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Jon A. Perlman said that "the lack of upper facial wrinkling and expression suggest Botox. Her skin is too smooth."

Other experts have weighed in on Kardashian's reported surgeries while pregnant. Hollywood Life reached out to certified doctors who questioned the Kardashian's choice of getting lip injections and fillers. None of the doctors asked said they would recommend the procedures for any pregnant woman.

"The risks of plastic surgery for pregnant woman are the same as any other surgical procedure, but pregnancy can decrease immune system function, increasing the risk of infection after surgery," Dr. Paul J. Carniol, a plastic surgeon, said.

Dr. Theodore Diktaban, a Board Certified maternal fetal medicine high risk OBGYN, agreed. He said that any cosmetic surgery could wait until after delivery.

"Overall, we tell patients not to do anything that isn't important or medically necessary during pregnancy," he said.

The magazine also reported that Kanye West, Kardashian's boyfriend, would be livid if he found out about this. His mother, Donda West, died in November 2007 after complications from plastic surgery. She was 58.

"It would really set him off if he found out that Kim was putting his baby in that kind of danger just for her looks," the source said.

Kardashian's rep denied the allegations to the magazine.
