WWE Updates: John Cena 'Pushes' Bray Wyatt Further, Cenation Leader Not Part of WM33?
John Cena may be on to something bigger than himself, apparently in the form of Bray Wyatt. The newly crowned WWE Champion is now set to main event WrestleMania, but there are a lot of other controversial aspects to look out for prior to the biggest stage of them all.
Being one of WWE's most decorated and prime superstars to date, John Cena is definitely one of the people who can potentially make or break anyone in the roster. The recent pin falls that Cena received were care of Bray Wyatt, the WWE Champion, who may be the next one in line on being the next big thing for the company.
According to Daily DDT, John Cena seemed to have whispered something after his Triple Threat Match against the champion and AJ Styles, which ended with Bray Wyatt keeping the belt. Cena was said to have said that it is Wyatt's "time," pertaining to the reign of his championship from there on out. This means that there really could be an entire era to watch out for, namely Wyatt's. Cena can carefully be seen uttering the words "you're a proper champion now" to Wyatt.
As for John Cena, it is said that the superstar will not be taking part in the biggest wrestling event of the year, WrestleMania. Cena, predicted to go up against The Miz and Nikki Bella, as per Wrestling Inc., is not to happen, as Cena has a whole lot of work lined up for him in the year. One is "The Pact," a film which he is said to star in for release on 2018.
Even if many fans may not like the idea of John Cena and what he does to the company, the careers of many superstars have changed dramatically thanks to the superstar's exposure. For now, John Cena could be eyeing for other projects apart from the squared circle.
