'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Update: John Boyega Had Difficulty with Complex 'Star Wars' Lingo [PHOTO]
"Star Wars: Episode 8," or also known as "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," is perhaps one of the most anticipated films to come out this year. With the filming of the second installment in the "Star Wars" sequel trilogy already done, fans are now getting new clues regarding just how complex the movie will be.
John Boyega, who will be reprising his role as Finn from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," recently posted a photo on Instagram of a gift that director Rian Johnson had given him. According to Movie Web, the gift was apparently a commemorative token that Johnson had sent the actor to remind him of just how technical some of the dialogue was and how it had frustrated him.
The actor also clearly captioned the photo revealing to fans that the framed poster was indeed regarding the complex "Star Wars" lingo and how was struggling with it. The poster also contained the word "Bio-hexacrypt," which is a relatively new term in the "Star Wars" universe. Boyega's caption also doesn't really provide any context as to the meaning of the word, but several users on Reddit had their theories.
Based solely on the words, a fan had predicted that Bio-hexacrypt may be pertaining to some sort of DNA-based encryption used in security access panels or doors. This theory makes sense since several rumor reports have claimed that Boyega's character may be shown breaking into the First Order's base. The actor may have also had problems pronouncing the word during filming, which is likely the cause of his frustration towards the "Star Wars" lingo.
Aside from the complex new word, fans should expect a lot of new catch phrases in the upcoming movie. Mark Hamill even mentioned in an interview that the dialogue in the upcoming movie will be making fans forget all about "May the force be with you."
Given that the phrase is perhaps one of the most famous ones from the franchise, the statement is saying a lot about the upcoming new installment. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is scheduled to hit theaters on Dec. 15.
