Adam Levine News: 'I Want to Probably Be Married at Some Point,' Singer Says in Oprah Interview [VIDEO]
Adam Levine revealed in an exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey that he would love to get married one day.
The full interview will air on Oprah's Next Chapter on Sunday, June 2 at 9 p.m. on OWN.
Levine sat down with the talk show queen alongside fellow Voice judge Blake Shelton earlier in May to tape the interview.
"Hearing Blake talk about [marriage], it's great," Levine said, "I'm a fan of marriage. People think that I keep pooh-poohing marriage, but I love it."
The 33-year old singer revealed, "I want to probably be married at some point."
Despite his desires, the Maroon 5 front man is in no rush.
"I don't feel pressured to get married," he explained, "I think a lot of people put pressure on themselves to get married and I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious, and I'm going to do it, and I'm going to really enjoy it. I love kids, I love the idea of having a wife. I don't have one yet."
Levine has dated various women over the past few years, including his current girlfriend, Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal. The pair has reportedly been dating since early spring.
Levine's thoughts on marriage have changed since an interview he gave in early April, in which he said:
"If you don't get married, you can't get divorced. Why couldn't we learn from the devastatingly low percentage of successful marriages that our last generation went through?"
Levine recently got into trouble after muttering, "I hate this country," during The Voice results show. The singer was discouraged that two of his singers had been eliminated by the nationwide vote.
He later apologized in a statement: "I obviously love my country very much and my comments last night were made purely out of frustration."
