Amanda Bynes Evicted From NYC Apartment in Light of Recent Behaviors
Amanda Bynes is no longer welcome at her apartment in New York City, after she was booted on May 28.
Movers came to her apartment Tuesday evening and took out Bynes’ things, according to InTouch. The Hollywood star was “was notified that she is no longer welcome as a tenant in the building in light of recent events,” said an insider.
“At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, movers showed up and removed Amanda’s belongings from her apartment,” the source told the magazine. “She is officially gone from the building.”
Numerous complaints had been made from residents about the Easy A actress after they smelled marijuana coming from her apartment, according to the report. The doormen were protective of Bynes when she first moved in but changed their opinions amid her recent behavior, which included cursing at residents and the doormen.
Officers had been planning her eviction for several weeks, according to the report.
Bynes was arrested May 23 for reckless endangerment, tampering with physical evidence and physical possession of marijuana after allegedly throwing a bong out of her apartment. The actress claimed officers sexually harassed her during the arrest, but they deny these claims.
The Hollywood actress was seen in Buffalo, N.Y. the day after her eviction jumping on a gym trampoline.
