Furious Five rapper Melle Mel has some choice words for Eminem and Jay Z.

Melle Mel, rapper and songwriter for Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, is not a fan of modern rap. At all. The rapper spoke with Leland Robertson and company in the studio on a new episode of First Family of Hip Hop and made some very controversial comments about two of the biggest names in rap music.

First , he called out Jay Z, referring to the music mogul as, "a white guy, Jay Z's a white guy. Jay Z's a white businessman. He's a clown." Others in the room laughed at Melle Mel's comments but he continued on.

Asked what would happen in a rap battle between him and Eminem, Melle Mel, said he could easily defeat him. "Easiest thing I ever did."

The old-school rapper noted, "Most of it is garbage," of rap music from the year 2000 until now. "These are just guys posing. Jay, all of them."

Robertson was especially baffled by Melle Mel's comments, saying in a confessional, "Child is born with no state of mind, blind to the ways of mankind. Who says that?"

Neither Eminem nor Jay Z has responded to Melle Mel's controversial comments.

As Jay Z continues to build his musical empire, Eminem has been quieter over the past few years. The rapper released a new freestyle called "Campaign Speech" to coincide with the presidential election last year, but he has not released any solo singles or studio albums for a few years. He is said to be working on a new album but there is no indication as to when it might be released.
