Justin Bieber got a tattoo of a knight on his inner arm and according to reports, the new ink may be a reference to his rumored, rekindled romance with Selena Gomez.

The image of a knight in armor is placed on his left arm right by his Koi fish tattoo and owl. Could the new ink by a sign of his determination to fight for Gomez for them to stay together?

The same was said in April when images surfaced of the 19-year-old's Koi Carp tattoo, which symbolizes perseverance and strength of character. In Japanese "Koi" means love and sporting the fish tattoo can mean being in love and not caring about the opinions of others.

Bieber already has six tattoos on his left arm, including a picture of a tiget head, an X, the word "BELIEVE" and a face of an angel. On his left leg he has the face of Jesus and on his chest he has a crown, the latter being one of his first tattoos. The singer has reportedly 14 tattoos now.

He and Gomez split in late 2012 but have reportedly gotten back together. Pictures of them embracing were posted online by Bieber, one of Gomez kissing him on the cheek and other of him shirtless while the Come & Get It singer hugs him from behind. The latter photo was uploaded onto Instagram on April 25 and captioned, " 'You've been making music for too long babe come cuddle' - her."

Both singers have yet to confirm that they have gotten back together but in a mid-May radio interview, Gomez hinted to her single status. A radio host asked her a series of "yes" and "no" questions, one being "You're completely available in every way?"

The 20-year-old singer replied, "Yep!"
