Although it's still quite a ways away from its Season 4 premiere in 2014, Downton Abbey continues to garner interest for its future installment at an astounding rate.

Actor Allen Leech, who dons the role of Tom Branson, recently spoke to the Daily Star about his character's livelihood on the British-American TV series moving forward.

"Everyone does one thing when they get their scripts - makes sure their name is still in it at the end to make sure they're still alive... Only then do you start reading it properly," he said.

The actor also added that the possibility of being abruptly written out of the show always remains a definite possibility to all of the talent on the program.

"I think everyone worries they could be written out. They've got to keep it exciting and dramatic. It's a drama at the end of the day. And that's all certainly there for the fourth series," he added.

Downton Abbey, which airs in 219 countries across the world, follows the ups and downs of the royal Crawley family and their staff in the 1920s.

The series is set to premiere its fourth season in the U.S. on Jan. 5, 2014, according to The Huffington Post.
