Miley Cyrus Liam Hemsworth News: Relationship Rumors Continue as She Sports Engagement Ring During Music Video Shoot
In between breakup rumors circulating across the Web and in print publications, Miley Cyrus wore her engagement ring during a video shoot in Los Angeles on May 30, indirectly confirming that she is still engaged to Liam Hemsworth.
The Can't Be Tamed singer wore the 3.5 Neil Lane diamond ring with a cropped white tank top that she paired with gold chains and red lipstick. See a photo here. She also wears her ring in a Twitter photo she uploaded on June 2.
Recent images of her with the ring - which Hemsworth proposed with in the summer of 2012 - surface at a time when the couple faces rumors of an end to their relationship. Us Weekly published a report at the end of May that graced the magazine's front cover; a story citing multiple sources that said the Hunger Games actor and Cyrus have broken up. One insider told the magazine, "They are definitely over."
However, a source told People magazine Hemsworth, 23, and Cyrus, 20, "are still living together but have no wedding plans."
"They still need to work on their relationship, but after they decided to postpone the wedding, they are doing better," the insider added. "They feel less stress and less pressure now. Miley can focus on her music."
Multiple sources are refuting the Us Weekly claim, including one insider that told E! "It's been rocky, but they are hanging in there."
Cyrus announced at the Billboard Music Awards on May 19 that her new single, We Can't Stop, will debut June 3. She recently shot a video for her Will.i.am collaboration, Fall Down, and she appears in the video for her Snoop Lion duet, Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.
Hemsworth is promoting his new film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which will be released in November 2013. The film debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
