Fast & Furious 6 holds the No.1 spot at the box office for the second week in a row.

The movie, which collected more than $120 million from its North American premiere during Memorial Day weekend, is expected to add an additional $34.5 million, according to studio estimates from Hollywood.com.

The sixth installment had also debuted at No. 1 overseas. It opened in U.K. theaters on May 17 and beat The Great Gatsby starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

To date Fast & Furious 6 has already collected $480.6 million globally, as reported by Business Insider.

The movie is set in London and stars Vin Diesel, Dwyane Johnson and Paul Walker who are on a mission to bring down mercenary drivers. One of these drivers is Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez) who was thought to be dead.

Fast & Furious 6 isn't the only movie to do well at the box office. Now You See Me, a film starring Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson and Michael Caine, opened in U.S. and Canadian theaters at No. 2. The Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment film surpassed initial expectations and surprisingly grossed $28.1 million.

Other films, however, weren't as lucky. Opening at No. 3, is the futuristic film After Earth, which stars Will Smith and his son Jaden. It brought in $27 million, a disappointment for Sony Pictures.

"This is not 10 years ago when Will Smith was at the height of his box-office powers," Tim Briody of Boxofficeprophets.com told USA Today in regards to After Earth. "With atrocious reviews and terrible word-of-mouth, the opening could have been much worse," he added.

Still, Sony Pictures is hopeful.

"It's below our expectations here domestically," Rory Bruer, Sony's president of worldwide distribution told The Associated Press. "We feel very good about the potential of the film on a worldwide basis," he added.

Next week, After Earth, will open in 60 more countries.

Lastly, the animated movie Epic and Star Trek: Into Darkness both grossed $16.4 million and tied at No. 4. The Hangover Part III was fifth with $15.9 million.
