Chrissy Teigen Jennifer Lopez Slam: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Throws Jabs at Singer After Amanda Bynes Twitter Feud
On the heels of her Twitter feud with Amanda Bynes, Chrissy Tegein slammed Jennifer Lopez while in London on June 1.
Teigen, the 27-year-old half-Norwegian and half-Thai model who is engaged to singer John Legend, threw Twitter jabs at Lopez's team of handlers at the Chime For Change: Sound Of Change Live Concert.
"I won't get into it, but Jennifer Lopez' people need to calm the f-k down," Teigen reportedly wrote in a series of tweets, that have since been deleted, according to E! "I love Jennifer Lopez. But as I am sitting and watching John perform, I don't need her people to lay down the j-lo laws."
She then explained that her problem was not with the Jenny from the Block singer, but her handlers.
"She shall still be my face and hair idol. Her people can kick rocks" she specified. "I have never once been asked to leave for an artist's supreme arrival.. maybe I should carry around a horn and streamers. I'm bummed because I really loved her d-mmit, Anyhow moving on."
The Chime For Change: The Sound Of Change Live Concert was held at Twickenham Stadium in London had a bevy of award-winning singers perform on June 1 - Legend, Beyonce, Lopez, Florence Welch, Rita Ora and Jessie J.
Teigen unintentionally started a Twitter feud with the troubled Bynes when she wrote on Twitter on May 13: "The fact that Amanda Bynes has any 'support' to retweet is really unsettling. Support people with mental illness, yes. But don't condone/enable scary and poor behavior."
Bynes shot back on Twitter that night, writing, "Chrissy Teigen, you're not a pretty model compared to me."
"I signed to Ford models at age 13," Bynes added. "I don't looks up to you beauty wise. I'm far prettier than you! I'm offended that you're saying I have a mental illness when I show no sign of it."
"But thankfully not one man that wants me wants you and you are an old ugly model compared to me! I don't respect you!" Bynes said in her jab to the Sports Illustrated model. "You're no beauty queen! I'm a beauty queen."
Teigen declined to reply to Bynes: "Nope. Not going to indulge," she tweeted, "Wish the best for her truly." She then asked her almost 250,000 followers to not defend her or address Bynes.
"I never ask anything of you guys, but please. I don't need defending and please stop writing her. It's not funny. It's sad."
Teigen has been dating Legend for five years. The couple met on the set of one of his music videos in 2007. He later proposed to her during the holidays in 2011 and they have been rumored to wed married sometime this year.
Teigen made her third appearance in the 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, published in January. She made first appeared in the annual magazine in 2010, thanks to an introduction to the SI casting crew by her friend, model/actress Brooklyn Decker.
