Jennifer Lawrence gushed over her co-stars in an interview at the Cannes Film Festival in May and previewed what's to come for Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

"Amazing," she said, of her co-stars, "All of these people are my friends and I love them."

Some of Lawrence's co-stars on The Hunger Games include Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks. Lawrence's role as Katniss in 2012's massively popular The Hunger Games skyrocketed the 22-year-old actress to household-name status. She said she loves playing the role in the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' novel.

"Katniss is a character I adore," she said, "So it's really fun."

She released a few spoilers about Catching Fire, the sequel that will be released in November 2013.

"This movie is visually huge and stunning and we dive a little deeper in the Capitol. We're back in Katniss's life as she's trying to piece her life back together after the games. The stakes are a lot higher in this one."

Catchiing Fire will have a new addition to the cast, 26-year-old Sam Claflin. The actor will be playing Finnick Odair, a previous winner of The Hunger Games. Claflin said in his own interview that he already feels nervous about the role.

"Obviously, from the beginning there's a huge pressure on my shoulders. A lot to contend with," he admitted. "But the actual family group we have, the Hunger Games family, it was so inviting and so welcoming. I felt so intimidated to begin with but I really kind of settled."

Catching Fire is yet another movie blockbuster for Claflin, who has appeared in such hits as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and Snow White and the Huntsman.

Claflin feels that The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will really excite audiences.

"It's an epic story," he added. "It's the next installment of an already established film and I genuinely believe it's going to get people talking."

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be released in theaters on Nov. 22.
