'Thor 2 The Dark World' Spoilers: Movie Set To Show Off 'New Look And Feel' In Its Sequel? VIDEO & Details
Fans of Marvel's upcoming sequel Thor: The Dark World are surely itching to get their hands on the latest information surrounding it.
Fortunately for its loyalists, the company recently revealed several new photos, which included pictures of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Sif (Jaimie Alexander), and Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) amongst others.
Global Dispatch actually spoke to Eccleston on June 2 about his initial meeting with Marvel, and also elaborated on the "new look and feel" of the film that will come about under new director Alan Taylor.
"When I had that first meeting at Marvel I said, 'I like the first one but for me the world would look different, it would feel different.' I mean I really respect what they did. It was a conscious choice to say, 'These are not ancient gods, this is an alien race that's been mistaken for ancient gods.' Which is an intriguing way to do it and it's supported by Marvel mythology," he said.
The flick's sequel will focus primarily around Asgard, as Thor will summon Jane (Natalie Portman) there to ensure her safety when life on the Earth becomes extremely dangerous.
