Prince Harry Changes Priorities, Bonds With Charles Despite William’s Absence [VIDEO]
Prince Harry and his father Prince Charles are said to be growing close the past days despite the absence of Prince William who went on a ski holiday with his friends. Because of this, some royal insiders were telling that Meghan Markle's boyfriend had changed his priorities and he is already out from his old wild ways.
During an event at Buckingham Palace, last March 14, Prince Charles and Prince Harry were on hand to present medals to Gurkha soldiers. Obviously, Prince William was absent at the special ceremony since he was on a ski trip with his close friends in Switzerland.
Reported have suggested that Harry was all smiles as he presented the Operational Service Medals to 154 recipients from the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Gurkha Rifles as per Daily Mail. In fact, that event was a special moment both for Charles and Harry as they were both veterans. Harry served in the British Army while his father was in the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. The two even wore matching suits during the said event.
Prince Charles even shared in his speech how he is so proud of this longstanding association and for having served as Colonel-in-Chief for 40 of them. Indeed, some people had witnesses how Prince Harry and his father enjoyed spending the afternoon together while Prince William was not able to join them as reported on PEOPLE.
Because of that, some royal insiders criticized Prince William for showing to the public his real priorities and unfortunately it has nothing to do with his royal work and duties. Instead of joining his brother and his father, he opted to join his friends for drinking shots and dancing in nightclubs in Switzerland.
It only shows that Prince Charles is spending more time bonding with Prince Harry rather that Prince William. Because of this many critics were also dissing the Duke of Cambridge for skipping the Commonwealth Day service to be with his friends.
